Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,
Greetings from the Schank Family! I want to thank you for your prayers and support of our family and ministry here in Nebraska. You all do so much for us! I wish I could meet each of you, shake your hand, look you in the eye and personally thank you for your involvement in our lives. You mean so much to us!
Since our Jubilee in June, we have seen God continually work in the hearts of our church family. God has added two more families and we have seen one more get saved. Satan is busy too! I have visited the jail more in the last two months than I have in all my years of pastoring. It is my perception that in the midst of our church’s severe and trying circumstances we have gained more ground spiritually than we have lost. To God be the glory!
We were privileged to have one of our supporting pastors come by in the first week of August. Pastor Jeff Amsbaugh and his wife, Karen, were a huge blessing to our church. Their presence was such an encouragement! It was great to walk down memory lane with them.
The highlight of August was the opportunity for me to travel to Loganville, Georgia for Macedonia’s Annual Conference hosted by Corinth Baptist Church. Pastor Foskey and the members of Corinth were a tremendous blessing to all of the attendees. It was awesome to meet some of my missionary brothers and sisters whom I haven’t seen in nearly ten years. Every testimony given and message preached was anointed of God!
As I write this letter, my heart is saddened a little. My daughter, Andrea, just had another seizure this morning. She is home now and comfortable. Please continue to pray for her needs. I don’t know any more information about what is going on or what treatments she may or may not need. Just trusting Jesus to take care of things and give insight.
As we conclude this letter, I again want to express my gratefulness for your interest in our lives. God is working and I am thankful! We have seen many, many answers to prayer! Hallelujah!!! If you have any questions or concerns please contact us and we will do our best to get back with you. May Christ continue to bless you and your family!
Endeavoring To Stand In The Gap,
