Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,
Greetings from Blair! I want to take a moment and thank each of you for every ounce of time, talent and treasure you have expended on our behalf. Every card, handwritten note, email, phone call, letter, prayer and financial gift has been a blessing to our family. Thanks for your continued support of our work here in Nebraska!
There is no way to cram the last 8 weeks into a prayer letter. God has opened doors for our church in such a way that nobody can take any personal credit. God made some things very plain, unmistakable direction was shown, and we experienced a “Red Sea parting” that I think is only the beginning! Though we have been praying since January, all of this began to transpire just over a week and a half before our Midwestern Jubilee.
Our church was given an opportunity to move into a larger space in the building we already reside in. The accommodations are more suited for what we need and we only have to pay $50.00 more a month in rent! Utilities are higher, but not too bad. Not only did we get a bigger space, but a person in our community has underwritten the rent for an adjacent store front space, for a year, to allow us time to enlarge and/or begin more ministries from that space. Hallelujah!
The move was made into the new space just before the beginning of the Jubilee. WOW! I don’t really know what to say about the meeting and the way everything came together. Only one word comes to mind… GOD!
The Midwestern Jubilee was a life changing event for a number of people. We had, according to the register, 10 pastors, 7 missionaries, 3 evangelists and 2 preacher boys in attendance for the meeting. This was a phenomenal start of this annual event. The highlight of the meeting was when my nephew, Justin, was saved! The meeting ended on a wonderful note when a family joined our church! Oh, there is so much more we could remark about, but there is just not enough room in this letter!
My family is doing well. We are trying to get prepared now for schooling in the Fall. Help us pray for grace in getting the monies together for this. It is always a strain on Shilo and me! Please continue to help us pray for the meeting of financial needs concerning our vehicles. More work has had to be done since our last prayer letter. Will it ever end?
In conclusion, I would like to echo my children and state that God has been good to us. My children have seen the mighty hand of God work in the last 8 weeks. They now have some experiences of their own! I wish more of you could come out and see what God is doing in Blair. If we can ever help you in any way, then please do not hesitate to contact us. Thanks again for your help! We CANNOT do it without you!
