Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,
Greetings from Blair! I trust that this letter finds you and your family doing well. I would like to thank each of you who have prayed for us. We are especially grateful for those who have sent cards, letters, emails and those who have called us. Hearing from you is extremely delightful. We could not do what we are doing without your faithful support!
As I write this letter, I am in absolute bliss! Since our last letter we have seen 7 more professions of faith! I really don’t know how to convey just how honored I am to have been a part of what is going on around here. Six of the individuals who trusted Christ as Saviour were in connection with the passing of one of our charter members. Butch Leonard was a dear brother in Christ. At the funeral another 5 to 6 people raised their hands acknowledging that they had trusted Christ as I led in the sinner’s prayer aloud. Absolutely amazing!!!
In September, my pastor was able to travel out and preach a couple of days. It was great to hear him preach and the time spent in fellowship will be remembered a long time. Bobby Roberson is an amazing individual, whom I love dearly.
Since our last letter we have had 3 more new members. We have more first time visitors and have had numerous opportunities to present the gospel. It seems that God is allowing us to see some fruit in these days. Oh, how thankful I am for this!!!
Our family is doing well. School is moving along. The children are growing up WAY to fast. Shilo and I feel like we are on a roller coaster and are just along for the ride.
We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the numerous donations, in the last couple of months, towards our vehicle repairs. They have been right on time! God knows exactly what we need. These particular acts of kindness have been uniquely humbling. You know who you are… You have shown great love for us! Thank You!
As we conclude this letter, please keep on serving Christ! If there was ever a time to let our light shine for Jesus… it is NOW! Serving our Lord is worth every mile!
