Schank Family Prayer Letter May – June 2016

Schank FamilyMay – June 2016 Prayer Letter

Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,

Greetings from the Blair! On behalf of my family, I would like to say, “Thank You!” for your continued prayer and financial support. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending cards and letters of encouragement. They have been much needed.

As I begin this letter, I would like to praise the Lord for His sustenance during the last two months. The grace shown to our family has been absolutely amazing. Without the Lord working strongly on our behalf, I do not know how we could have made it! I would also like to convey that the battles Shilo and I have faced in the last year are not something that is peculiar to only our family. We recognize that many of you are facing some of the same battles in your lives too. Though May and June have been difficult months of ministry and life in general, God has been reminding us that we need to keep trusting Him! (Proverbs 3:5-6)

The biggest news we have to share is with respect to the lady we mentioned in our last letter. If you recall, she made her decision to sever an unbiblical relationship public in our Spring Revival. Since that time, she has moved to another place of residence and has also quit smoking cigarettes. On several occasions she has testified that God has really been working in her heart; especially since she acted in accordance with God’s Word about moving out. She is now in the process of making plans to attend Bible College in the fall. Hallelujah!

The family is doing fine. Shilo saved her pennies and took the children with her to visit family back in Carolina for a couple of weeks. They had a great time seeing all of their cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas and grandpas! I was so glad to see them come back to Blair!

I do ask you to pray for us. There is still some debt accumulated from vehicle repairs which have been made and there are some school expenses ahead this fall. The increasing financial pressures are taxing. Help us pray that we will learn to trust the Lord more!

In conclusion, I would like to let you know that we pray for you and desire that fruit may abound to your account! The sacrifices made today will bring forth fruit tomorrow! Keep on the firing line! May Christ richly bless you and your family as you endeavor to serve Him!

Endeavoring To Stand In The Gap,

Brother Andrew Schank
