Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,
Greetings from Blair, Nebraska! On behalf of my family, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for every prayer made on our behalf! We want to thank you for every email, card, letter, and phone call. It is so encouraging to hear from you and to know that we have not been forgotten.
To say that the last two months have been exciting is an understatement. To begin with, the family I have asked you to pray for has really come a long way. It turns out the mother accepted Christ back in September and only made it public in January. Coming from a Catholic background, she was a little apprehensive as to how to handle the situation. Her husband also got his salvation settled and made that public a week ago. God is working in their children’s lives and I am sure that we are going to see some of them accept Christ soon!
Our public worship services have been well attended. We are seeing some people for whom we have prayed finally start attending church some. Members of our congregation are witnessing and inviting their friends and family. It is so exciting to see them light up with joy as they are seeing God answer their prayers to see these people come to church and open their lives up to the gospel.
The men and leadership of our church have been extremely helpful to Shilo and I. They are praying more for our financial need concerning the new engine for our Suburban and another vehicle issue. Several of the men came to help us make the last repairs to our home due to the storm damage from the June 2014 hail storm. Our church family has rallied around us in so many ways it is phenomenal.
Keep praying for the church as we grow and continue to reach out into the community. More doors are opening and we need wisdom as we walk through them. Pray that we would see more of our people actually join our assembly. Church membership is important and some are having a hard time understanding this.
Our family is doing well. Miranda is still having a hard time with pain in her arm due to the tumor. She is coping as well as can be expected. Andrea and our boys are doing fine. They are busy with their school work and are looking forward to the summer months. Shilo and I are excited about what the future holds!!!
In conclusion, we would like to ask you to pray for wisdom in these days for us. There are some decisions to be made in the next few months and we need to have the mind of God on these matters. Thanks again for your continued prayer and support. We are especially grateful for those who have sent money to help with the suburban. We are still in need of more. We are trusting God to supply the need. May Christ richly bless you as you continue to serve Him!
