Dear Supporters and Praying Friends,
Greeting from a cold Blair, Nebraska! As we begin this letter, I would like to thank everyone for your phone calls, cards, letters, prayers and financial support these last two months. Without your continued support we could not do what we are doing! My family is very grateful for your interest in this ministry!
As always, the months of November and December seem to fly by! Our church has seen an increase in visitors and we have seen first-hand how God is using us here in the community! More than one person has expressed to me in the last two weeks how God seems to be drawing them to our church. WOW! These are people who we only speak every now and then. Our Lord seems to be working behind the scenes!!!
Since our last letter we have been able to get most of the repairs made to the house from the June hail storm. We have some projects to do when the warm days of spring arrive, but things are fine for now. We do ask you to pray that our insurance company will make things right. We had to file a complaint over a policy fiasco. God knows… just pray!
The family is doing well. They got to open their Christmas presents with the Grandmas looking through the live video chat on the computer! Everyone is healthy and enjoying themselves. Shilo is busy trying to get the house back to normal from the Holidays. All in all, we are BLESSED!
Great Commission Baptist Church is doing great. We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary celebration on February 9th! We are planning on having a big day on the 8th! To God be the glory!
As we conclude this letter, please pray for our church to continue to grow spiritually and numerically. We have some regular visitors who seem to be settling in. AMEN! We have several individuals who are under conviction about needing to be saved. Keep them in your prayers. There are numerous people in and connected to our church congregations who have been battling illness. They could use your prayers too.
Jesus Christ will return soon! I end this letter with a thought from our Brother in Christ, C.T. Studd, “…Only one life, twill soon be past, only what done for Christ will last…” Are you ready to meet our Saviour?
